Clute Family Christmas 2015

Oh Christmas, you were amazing. Can't we do this all over again in a few months? Oh wait, it's my pocketbook calling....yes I'm being told that it's a no go. Insufficient funds. Blast. I am so sad it's over already. All that prep and planning and excitement gone in a matter of hours. But oh the memories and fun we had! This year it was just us, at home, for Christmas. Norah's very first Christmas. Everything went perfectly and we had a wonderful time together as a family. I tried really hard this year to capture a lot of it on video, but still managed some good photos here and there....
family group photo!!
On Christmas Eve we spent some time at our neighbors house hanging out and making Christmas cookies, then it was time to go home and prep for Santa's visit!! First up: sprinkle the reindeer food Jinx left on our grass.

step 2: set out the milk and cookies for Santa

step 3: send kiddos to bed, eat cookies, and put out all the presents!! (this took longer than imagined. That art easel was not an easy one to put together!)

step 4: mommy stuffs the stockings  (I got the easy job)

Looks like we were all good this year!

And finally, after a restless night from being way too excited, Christmas morning!!

October 2016. date night.

I somehow managed to convince these two rascals to take a few more photos. How did we get so lucky to have such beautiful little girls?!

Merry 1st Christmas Miss Norah!!

I almost forgot, when Rachel was here we opened up the gifts she got us. She got the girls new sleeping bags for the camper: a fox for Norah and a raccoon for Charlotte.
Harley wants us to leave these out for him to play with. So comfy!
And I got a new pack for Norah...the Ergo 360. She  can now see out!!

what??! I love this Ma!!
A purrrrrfect hat for winter...thanks Grandma Clute!

For those not on Facebook, here is a little recap of Jinx's adventures at our house over the holidays. There was much more creativity this year and he only forgot to move twice! Charlotte was more excited to see him move about this year, which was a lot of fun. But seriously, why did I even buy this thing? More work for me and with mommy brain it sure is challenging. Can he just go back to the North Pole forever? haha. Until next year Jinxie....maybe.
